Our adult students receive temporary 'Bod Cards' and access to University libraries. This is a very rare privilege that we offer and includes access to the Duke Humphrey's Library which was built between 1450 and 1480.

Our students live, learn and socialise in the city of Oxford. The cohort dines each evening in breathtaking dining halls, some of which date back several centuries. Every course concludes with a memorable black tie Formal Hall.

JEREMY BENTHAM SCHOLARS - ADULTS ONLY
The Oxford Exchange has been teaching adults from ages 21-75 using advanced Oxford pedagogical methods and Design Thinking. We have achieved 100% approval ratings from adult lifelong learners since our founding. For 2025, we are offering more courses that we ever have in our history. Each participant may choose two "Core Courses" and optional "Electives."
(CORE COURSE ONE) - 12-Day MBA: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS & ENTREPRENEURSHIP: Led by a faculty member who earned an MBA at Oxford, this is an intensive course that contextualises an MBA in practical terms. We cover the main elements of an MBA - Accounting, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Finance, and Operations Management. We workshop entrepreneurial ideas and select industries to engage based on a class poll (before you arrive).
(CORE COURSE TWO) - PPE (PHILOSOPHY, POLITICS & ECONOMICS) & INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: This course is inspired by the popular PPE degree at Oxford University. We cover International Relations Theory, International Crisis Management, Political & Economic Philosophy & Forms of Government. Students will study global conflicts and present solutions in small groups using Design Thinking methodology.
(CORE COURSE THREE) - STUDIA HUMANITATIS (HUMANITIES):
HISTORY OF THE UNITED KINGDOM: Early history of the British Isles, Britain and the unwritten constitution; The evolution and devolution of the four nations, The British Empire and its legacy.
ENGLISH LITERATURE: We cover the key works of Chaucer, Shakespeare and early classics of English Literature. We offer seminars that discuss the beginning of the "English Novel" and Victorian Literature (Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Charles Dickens, and Rudyard Kipling). VIP Guest Tutors cover authors such as Virginia Woolf, CS Lweis, JRR Tolkien, and others.
CLASSICS: Classics (Literae Humaniores) is devoted to the study of the civilisations of ancient Greece and Rome and their influences into modern times. At The Oxford Exchange, Classics is varied and interdisciplinary; Classics students study the literature, history, and archaeology of ancient Greece and Rome as well as philosophy (both ancient and modern).
THEOLOGY & RELIGION: We explore the subject in the context of the long history that the British Isles has engaged in debate, reform and turmoil in religion. Our course features seminars led by experts on the King James Bible, the Protestant Reformation, the writings of St Thomas Aquinas, and The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
(CORE COURSE FOUR) - CREATIVE WRITING: FICTION WRITING & SCREENWRITING: We get right to the business of writing in this
course because we believe every person has a story to tell. We teach you character development, plot and story evolution, pacing, dialogue, and other essential elements of writing.
ELECTIVES: SCIENCE & TECHNLOGY, STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS, SHAKESPEARE
Who May Apply: Individuals ages 18+ who are either current undergraduate or postgrad students, professionals, or retirees who believe in the power of lifelong learning.

St John's College in Oxford Programme
Since 2022, The Oxford Exchange has partnered with St John's College (a liberal arts college with locations in Annapolis, MD and Santa Fe, New Mexico) to deliver residential courses in Oxford for St John's College undergraduates, postgraduates, and alumni.
TRACK 1 - CLASSICS
Review of Ancient Greek & Roman Classics, Greek Comedies and Tragedies
TRACK 2 - PPE (PHILOSOPHY, POLITICS & ECONOMICS)
International Relations Theory, International Crisis Management, Political Philosophy & Forms of Government
TRACK 3 - ENGLISH LITERATURE
Interpreting the works of Shakespeare, Surrealism in Literature (influences of the French authors), Symbolism in the works of CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien
Who May Apply: "Johnnies" ages 18+ who are either current undergraduate or postgrad students or SJC alumni. Under certain circumstances, we accept individuals who are not affiliated with St John's College.
Instruction Level: Oxford Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Johnnies take all three tracks in a blended Oxford tutorial programme.
The Citadel in Oxford Programme
The Oxford Exchange has partnered with The Citadel (a military college in South Carolina, USA) to deliver courses for cadets at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Who May Apply: Cadets from The Citadel apply through The Citadel's Study Abroad Office.
Instruction Level: Oxford Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels - 3 credit hours at The Citadel are available for each course.
Athena Scholars in Oxford Programme
The Oxford Exchange offers scholarships to future female leaders ages 16-20 to study as a cohort in Oxford for two weeks.
Courses: TRACK 1 - POLITICAL LEADERSHIP
International Relations Theory, Evaluating Crises, Business Leadership & Entrepreneurship, Classics & Political Philosophy
Courses: TRACK 2 - STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS
Strategic Communications, Working with the Media, Press Releases, Research & Writing (Op-Eds, and Research Papers).
Who May Apply: Females who will be at least 16 years old by the end of the course in 2025, and those who will not have turned 21 by the end of the course in 2025.
Instruction Level: Oxford Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
PRIVATE ORGANISATIONAL COURSES
The Oxford Exchange can design and deliver bespoke closed online or residential courses for organisations in a variety of industries and fields. Our particular expertise is strong in the following areas: 1) Military Organisations, 2) Think Tanks, 3) Strategic Communications Organsiations, 4) Political Organisations & Governmental Organisations, 5) Key Industries in Finance, IT, Manufacturing, Global Health & Medicine, and others.
The United States Air Force hired The Oxford Exchange in 2021 to deign and deliver a European Security Studies Course for 36 officers and NCO's stationed at RAF Mildenhall. The course was conducted entirely online via Zoom and the course achieved 100% satisfaction from the participants.
Instruction Level: Oxford Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels catered to professionals at all levels.
The Oxford Exchange put together an absolutely outstanding course. Not only did you raise the bar for USAF training courses, but you also took careful attention to make sure each Fellow received individual attention. Speaking with General David Petraeus was a career highlight!

The Oxford Exchange is a registered US Government Contractor through NATO. The US Air Force currently contracts with us to deliver closed group security studies courses.

At The Oxford Exchange, we believe that an elite intensive residential experience (in addition to a student's regular year school work) is the key to unlocking your true potential. We designed this leadership programme for future female leaders in two sub-cohorts: age 16-18, and ages 19-21.
Through classes, seminars and individual tutorials held in the magical university city of Oxford, England, you will learn from university instructors, tutors, and mentors. The curriculum is designed to enhance each Athena Scholar's ability to research, write, debate, and present her ideas effectively and persuasively.
